We explored the first chapter of 'Matilda in Scots' and the children were asked to highlight unfamiliar words. In small groups they attempted to read the first chapter and discussed the vocabulary.
We will be discussing our highlighted words next week and create a mini scots dictionary to help us all understand them better.
