As part of our topic on Mary, Queen of Scots, we discussed the end of her life and her beheading. This led on to the discussion of capital punishment and how this was used in the past and in today's society.
The children were then tasked as part of a small group to discuss their opinions for and against capital punishment and create a poster which reflected their thoughts and views. The children then presented this to the front of the class.
